On September 8, the first intensive training course was launched in Vinnytsia as part of the Greenhouse of Ideas program, aimed at developing and supporting the cultural and creative economy ecosystem in six pilot regions of the UCORD project.

Over the course of three days, 30 local creative entrepreneurs will enjoy a packed program that includes:

  • practical training designed specifically for creative industries;
  • analysis of your own business or idea;
  • advice from experts and networking with colleagues in the sector;
  • preparation for participation in grant competitions under the “Greenhouse of Ideas” program.

The first day began with a moderated discussion with the participation of Yelyzaveta Savchuk, Director of the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency, Lina Romanukha, regional coordinator of the “Cultural and Social Cohesion” component of the UCORD project, and Iryna Babenko, communications manager and representative of the local partner, the “Plai” Art Association.

Local entrepreneur Antonina Lyulka shared her experience with the participants. Two years ago, she and her family opened the Heroes memorial bookstore in Vinnytsia to honor the memory of journalist and defender Mykola Rachko and fulfill his dream of owning a bookstore.

As part of the evening program, participants visited a bookstore and an exhibition at the Montage cultural center.

The “Greenhouse of Ideas” program is being implemented as part of the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Ukraine’s Cohesion and Regional Development” (UCORD), which is being implemented with the support of Switzerland via the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation by NIRAS Sweden AB.

Bootcamps in Vinnytsia are organized in partnership with Lanka.pro and the local hub of the NGO “Art Association ”PLAY“”.
