The UCORD project is launching a program aimed at improving the English language skills of employees of Regional Development Agencies. For this, we chose the British Council foreign language school.
It is worth noting that the opportunity to join the program is available not only to the employees of the agencies of the pilot regions of the project, but also to the directors of other Ukrainian RDAs, because UCORD strives to provide everyone with equal opportunities for training and to form a network of strong Regional Development Agencies throughout the country.
A total of 48 representatives from 16 RDAs joined the program.
The purpose of the program is to provide agency specialists with the necessary language skills for effective interaction with international partners. The curriculum will be developed based on the test results, taking into account the level of knowledge of each program participant.
The program from the British Council is part of the UCORD project’s institutional support for the activities of Regional Development Agencies in pilot areas. Such support is aimed at institutional growth and transformation of agencies into effective and capable institutions that will become drivers of development in their regions.
The Swiss-Ukrainian project “Ukraine’s Cohesion and Regional Development “, UCORD, is implemented with the support of Switzerland via the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation by NIRAS Sweden AB.
